Life can bring you lemons, right? Well, do people ever mention that life can also give you sour milk? Moldy bread? Rotten eggs?
I'm starting to find that being an adult is... well, it's frightening.
I mean, it is absolutely terrifying.
No, I'm serious, look me in the eye. I. AM. TERRIFIED.
It seems that when it comes to trying to deal with any situation nowadays, I will find myself looking out a window, thinking oh my gosh... how do I even begin to deal with this? I mean, I can handle the situation, but mentally? Emotionally? Yeah right...
Just recently I had a problem, and I said to myself "okay, I'm going to talk this out with this person, and see what the problem is. Simple as that."
OH. MY. WORD.
I walked to and fro, trying to finish up my chores, and this overwhelming pain came upon me. It made me depressed, distraught, and simply scared. I could feel it so deep in my lower chest. I didn't know what happened to me. I couldn't calm down, no matter how hard I tried. I literately told myself "I'm fine, damnit, I'm fine damnit."
Well I wasn't fine, damnit!
I told myself that I could be a man about this, that it was probably just a misunderstanding, that there was a simple explanation, but that didn't help. I was still walking inside, fighting back tears. I was confused! Why was I crying? Why was I so stressed over this? Why do I have to be so emotional, and so sensitive?
Turns out, there was a simple explanation, as well as COMPLETELY understandable! Yay! Bye-bye tears, bye-bye pain!
Um... yeah, no.
I walked straight into my room, and cried. I just sat there and cried.
But that was when I realized something: Growing up and dealing with situation maturely hurts like hell. And I mean that. It feels like a painful fire deep in your chest, and it didn't want to go away.
This is simply one part of growing up. This is simply a phase that I MUST go through. It's growing pains, and I'm growing into more of a man every day. It happens to all of us, and we simply need to understand that this is simply our spiritual body growing.
So for now, I choose pain over comfort, for the pain is only temporary.

Life As it Is In Early November - 1
I am the kind of guy who wants to say something nice, but cant think of a way to express myself. If in the heat of the moment, all I can really do is say something anyone would say. "You're so beautiful," "I love you," "I think you're amazing," etc. And my replies are even worse. "Yeah, me too," "I know right?" "Right," "Oh yeah, of course," etc.
I have to take time to think about how to express myself, and by the time I've done that, it seems either the moment is lost, or something/someone ends the moment, and has me spiraling off to do other things.
I want to express my feelings to those around me, in this case, my wonderful, gorgeous, girlfriend. It seems though that I can't express anything of what I feel, except for two ways. 1. I get just FRIGGIN lucky. 2. I'm at a computer, typing.
It seems I'm best at describing myself to someone when I'm typing, when I'm writing my heart out. To write my heart out is something wondrous really, I can't even begin to describe it. It's like my whole world has slowed down, and I can focus on the things I need to, without it going by me like a blur. I can say wonderful things about my girlfriend, family, and friends, and not have to worry about the cliches, or the awkwardness, or if it sounds right or wrong. I can simply copy bits and pieces of my heart into writing. How is that NOT awesome?
Anyway, I would love to just start saying a whole boatload of sweet words for her, right here, right now. But that's not for you to hear. That's not for you to enjoy. It's not for me to share and explain. It's reserved for her. And her alone. Because she's awesome. And I love her.

My Summer Update! Part 1
Hello all! I'm so excited to be back here!
So I said I was taking a 'Summer Break'. Well, I started a month late, but you know, I really don't care. I'm back now so... shush. XD
This next paragraph will either turn you off and make you leave, or interest you. Whatever happens, don't let it stop you from continuing reading!
Until next time...

- Probably the biggest thing that's happened is our conversion. Our family has decided to join the Catholic church. Quite exciting, though for a lot of you who read my blog, you may find this a bit disheartening. I sympathize for you, only because I've had this happen to me. If you wish to know more details about our conversion, why we did it, please email me at rdanhall@outlook.com and I will send you the letter we sent to everyone we could reach.
- As you know, I'm working on another blog, based off of legend, folklore, cryptics, and a little myth. I'm quite excited, and I have such a fun time writing it! You can watch the preview HERE, and you can visit the blog HERE. I hope you enjoy it!
- We've moved! We are now located in Gladewater Texas, about two hours eastward from where we were originally. I really like it here! It's a really small town too, so we can just walk up to the barber shop to get our hair cut, or if we want to eat, we can take a nice little exercise and walk over to a restaurant. We haven't made any new friends yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon!
- We are not going to the Philippines. The support just didn't come the way we needed to. I believe God shut the door for a reason though, and just wanted us to take that path for a bit so we could have the experience. Besides, being Catholic now, Wycliffe wouldn't accept us!
Until next time...
Ryan Hall ;)

Hello Again!
Hello readers! My summer break is almost over, which means I'll be returning to blogging here!
Now, even though I haven't been blogging here, that doesn't mean I stopped blogging all together. What do I mean?
Why don't you see for yourself?
