You know, I've noticed that I've said some things on my blog, such as how often I'm going to post, when I'm posting things, how long I'm posting it. And then I've noticed that I don't stick with it. Take Life As I Know It, for example. I Never actually stayed on top of that. The couple of times I said I would be posting more often, I didn't. That's just sad. Even though it's just a small thing... wait. No, I take that back. It's a big thing. Keeping your word is very big. But why? Why is keeping your word so important? It's not like it's going to hurt someone if you don't do it every now and then. Actually, it will. But it hurts more than one person. And that other person is YOU.
When you say something, and you don't do it, you not only hurt that person, but that person loses trust in YOU. The Bible says, in 1st John 2:5, "But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him."(NKJV) Translated into modern English, that means, "Keep your word, or BE QUIET." Not saying anything is better than not keeping your word, and losing someones trust in you.
When you don't keep your word, you sin. Exodus 20:16 says, "“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." bearing false witness is the same thing as LYING. Lying? No it's not, you might say. It is though! You say, for example, you'll take out the trash for Ma. You don't forget about it, but then you go so far as to NOT do it. Tell me how that is not lying! You said something, then you didn't do it. You said you mowed the lawn, but you didn't. That's lying.
So with that all said, let me say this: A lot of you who read my blog know that I do some Stop Motion Photography. I will be posting (if you're interested) tips, and videos I've made myself. I hope you enjoy them!
I have nothing else to say, except to ponder these thoughts, and to ( as Todd Wilson says) Be Real.
