My new project, well, relatively new...

I am... well, SORRY that I haven't posted anything in along time, but behold, I come bring tidings of comfort and joy!
Lately, I have been working on a project that may interest those who LOVE fiction. That's right, a book. The book is titled SPIES. SPIES is a secret organization whose goal is to keep the peace in the world, all for the glory of GOD.
Included in this post, is the Epilogue, and an excerpt from chapter 2. You'll get the gist of what it's about while you read. Please comment and tell me what you think! I hope you enjoy it!
(Please note that this is all UN EDITED. So if you see some grammar mistakes, don't be worried!)
P.S. Also, don't feel like you have to read it in one sitting! :)

Epilogue
In the year 3226 A.D., the government decided to stop lying about things like “Global Warming,” and start enslaving people. The American people were forced to have two or less children, they raised the prices on fuel, and put tax on food, not to mention many other countless things. Sixty percent of the people were out of jobs. Forty percent of that were thrown in prison. Then, from out of the blue, a man came along. No one knew where he came from. He secretly started going door to door in Texas telling the citizens that it was time to take action. On top of this, he gave them weapons a plenty for the people of Texas, so to be ready for the war. Soon afterwards, a bomber named Freedom, attacked the Capital Building, thus starting the American Civil War II in 4006 A.D.
It was a bloody and gruesome war, that lasted until 4008 A.D. Thousands had died because there were also those who agreed with the government. In the end, the Texans won the battle. For half a month, they celebrated their victory. The victory everyone would remember for the rest of their lives.
The people of the new country decided to rename their country to: The New United States of America. A country that would follow the laws of the Constitution, and the Bible. Shortly afterwards, they elected a good, Christian man to be in charge of the House of Representatives and the government. The House of Representatives elected a new President named Charles L. Obama, the great, great, great, (ect. ect.) Grandson of Barach Obama. The new President also walked in the ways of God.
After this amazing turn of events, Jack Dixon, a man who had fought against the government, had a strange experience. In 4009 A.D. a mini rocket-ship crashed in his backyard. When he went to go check it out, he saw something he thought he would never believe. It was a baby boy. Next to the baby was a name plate that read”
PLUTO:
FIREBALL
Jack decided that he and his wife, Olivia, would adopt him. They couldn’t have kids themselves and, after all, it did seem like God sent this little baby to them. They named him, Rex. After fourteen years of raising him, Olivia died.
As you read this book, the year will be 4023 A.D., and will progress from there. Enjoy.

Okay, now here is the excerpt  from Chapter 2...

Rex awoke to the smell of pancakes. Thank god for Saturdays. He got out of bed, threw his clothes on, put on his IPod and headed towards the dining room. “Morning Dad,” Rex mumbled sleepily. “You makin’ pancakes?”
“Yup!” his Dad replied, “blueberry, or strawberry?”
“Both.”
“Wise chose, I’m having both too.”
After pancakes were finished being eaten, Jack decided to make his move. “Rex,” he said, “I want to talk to you about something.”
“Yah?” he answered walking over.
“I want to know what’s going on with you and your behavior. It’s gotten really bad lately.”
“Uuuhhhh…”
At that moment, the door bell rang. Jack looked very annoyed. He walked to the door.
Saved by the bell… thought Rex.
“Hey, what can I…?” Jack said, stopping in mid sentence. Rex watched him slam the door and run to the closet. “Rex! Get behind something thick!”
“Why? What’s wrong?” he asked puzzled.
BLAM! It was a gunshot. Oh. He quickly ran behind the couch, All the while yelling and holding his head with both hands. He heard the door burst open and bullets flying overhead. That was when he heard someone yell in pain. “Dad?”
“I’m okay son, you?”
“Uh-huh,”
“You can get up now, it’s all over.”
Rex slowly stood up, “What just happened?”
His Dad got very serious,” On your Mom and I’s sixth honeymoon, we went to Russia. While we were there, I witnessed a government agent trying to kill someone. Well, you know me, I couldn’t just stand there and watch this. I walked over and asked what was going on, in Russian of course. The guy trying to kill the civilian told me that the government there was trying to decrease the population, and to stay out of it. That’s when the agent was about to kill him. I don’t know what came over me, but I punched him in the face, knocking him out cold. The other guy ran, yelling his gratitude towards me. I checked the Agent’s pulse to make sure he wasn’t dead, and then ran off.
“We left Russia the next day thinking that life would go on as usual. Though Olivia said it would come back to bite us in the butt one day. I thought I had saved the day, like Batman would have. Secretly. But I suppose the agent made up a story or something and finally tracked us here.” He looked over towards the body. “And if I’m not mistaken, that’s him.”
Rex stared at the body. He had never seen a corpse this close, aside from his Mother’s. Then another thought came to him. “What did you use to kill him? I didn’t hear any gunshot right before he died.”
Jack smiled, “I used this,” he said, picking up a sword. The blade was a shiny silver, and the handle was a glowing gold, with grooves engraved into it. He pushed a small button on the handle and a lazer went all around the magnificent weapon.  Intrestingly, there was not a hint of blood on the sword. “Its nick name is, The Sword of the Spirit. But in more technical terms, it’s a lazer sword.”
Rex was amazed. “Whoa. When and where did you get that thing?!”
“Towards the end of Civil War II, a friend of mine made it. He was a scientist named Dr. John Davis PhD. He thought it would help with the war, but, we never got to test it. I guess it works. Course, I never figured out how he made it stay on without charging or batteries, or how it self cleans. It’s a wonder to me.”
“Where’s John Davis now?”
“I don’t know. He disappeared after the war ended. Never heard from him again.”
Rex stood for a minute. “Well…now what?”
“I think we should finish the conversation, don’t you?” his Father replied, with an eyebrow raised and half a smile. Rex stared at the floor. He didn’t want to talk, but he had to get this feeling out.
“Is there a God that really loves us?”
Finally! Jack thought, I know why his attitude’s been rotten! Thank you LORD! “This is about Mom’s death, isn’t it?”
“Well…I guess so.”
“Then spit it out. What’s on your mind?” Jack asked, finally relieved to have figured this out.
“Why would God, if He loves us, let Mom die? And when I was so young.”
Mr. Dixon smiled, “Rex, I don’t know.”
Now Rex was really confused. “What?”
“Nobody knows why people die at certain times. Only GOD knows. See, he’s got this plan he made since the very beginning of time. GOD just decided that it was time for your mother to be with him. A lot of times we don’t understand His motives, but whatever He does He does it in the best interest.”
“So, He loves us, cares for us, yet takes people away for the best interest. What’s best for me.”
“Right.”
Rex now understood. Besides, since his Mom was a believer, she’d be in heaven. Why then did he not want to understand? It made sense, but something inside pushed him away from that fact. Then something else caught his attention. It was a shadow outside the window.
“Dad! Someone’s outside!” Everything went in slow motion from that point. His father turned around to grab the sword, but as his hand touched the handle, the gunshot went off. His father fell to the floor. “Uuhhnn…Rex…gun…shoot…”
Rex immediately ran to his father’s room and grabbed the gun out of the shirt drawer, just in time to hear someone rush inside. He ran into the living room and shot the gun towards the man.
